Man, It's Poetry
Shirtless and unsure I stare
Writing song and soul for a ghost
Running fingers in tangled hair
Watching waves break the coast
Not knowing if I can
I fight the urge to leave
Still just a broken man
Wearing wounds on a sleeve
I see your eyes- they cry
As you watch stone feet shuffle in the sand
Wave hello- say goodbye
As you turn your back to my hand
Too careless to care
I stand staring alone
I know not where
I must go walking on my own
